Check-in is 2:00pm and Check-Out is 10:00am sharp. Special provision for late check-out or early check-in may be available by arrangement with our Manager and may not be available during busy periods. We apologise if we are unable to meet your request.
The comfort of our guests and maintaining the condition of the cottage are extremely important to us. We have a strict non-smoking policy inside the cottage, however you may smoke cigarettes outside, on the condition that you first close all windows and doors nearby to stop cigarette smoke from coming into the cottage. Cigarette butts must be fully extinguished and disposed of in the outside bins before coming back into the cottage. We have a zero tolerance approach to this and any guests who violate this rule will forfeit their security deposit in its entirety to cover special cleaning charges.
We pride ourselves in making Gull Cottage a clean and healthy environment for all our guests, which includes those with pet allergies. As a result we’re unable to accommodate pets so we recommend you make alternative arrangements to have them looked after while you travel and enjoy Gull Cottage for its peace and comfort.
We encourage our guests to enjoy their time at the cottage, and understand that for many people this may include having a few drinks or playing music while spending time with friends and family. We have neighbours close to one side of the cottage so we expect our guests to respect them by not making excessive noise and keeping music etc. to an acceptable volume. Simply put, if you can hear it outside with the windows closed, it’s probably too loud.
We pride ourselves in maintaining Gull Cottage to a high standard to ensure the comfort of all guests. This includes replacing damaged items or repairing faulty appliances or furniture. Any items found to be damaged by guests will result in the forfeit of the security deposit to cover repair or replacement costs. The cottage is cleaned and inspected after every Check Out, but if you find something is damaged or faulty please contact us immediately so that we can discuss and resolve it appropriately.
